AYLLU MEANS FAMILY IN QUECHUA.

We are Martha and Rafael, siblings and founders of AYLLU CONTEMPORARY JEWELRY;

Martha is a product designer and jeweler based in germany, while Rafael is a forest engineer in Lima, Peru. For a long time, we dreamed of creating a project together that would allow us to share our passion and admiration for design and nature, particularly the tropical rainforest, while also strengthening our bond as siblings.

Ayllu was born in 2023 with the philosophy that our jewelry transcends the decorative object; each piece is inspired by ancestral traditions as well as the aesthetics hidden in the natural world that gives jewelry a powerful and beautiful form of expression and communication.
